There are positive and negative effects of sun exposure. If you don't protect your skin from the sun properly, the main negative effect results in skin cancer.
There are several types of skin cancer but the most dangerous type of skin cancer is called Melanoma. It is the leading cause of death from skin disease.
Throughout recent years, tanning has become more present in our society. Being tan means being beautiful, but certain risks are not worth it.
Good selection of images here. You did great for the exercise. However, you should consider describing the sample chart (image 2) and what it is (which one is melanoma?). Also, if you add to the Paris Hilton caption that her tanning habits could be highly influential on other women/young women, that would be a better ethos appeal. Finally, I'm not exactly sure how the sun image works to evoke ethos, pathos, or logos.
